How and on what basis do we use your personal data?
We use the personal data that we obtain from you when concluding the contract and in connection with its implementation for the purposes of:
a. to take steps before the conclusion of the contract, its conclusion and performance. We process the data during the period of our arrangements, performance of the contract and settlements after its completion;
b. fulfilling our legal obligations (issuing and storing invoices and accounting documents, considering complaints); we process during the performance of obligations (e.g. issuing an invoice and data storage) resulting from regulations, e.g. tax;
c. creating statements, analyzes and statistics (e.g. when planning the development of our company), we process the data during the term of the contract and no longer than for the period after which the claims under the contract expire.
In contracts for our services, we obtain your data that we need to conclude the contract. We may also ask for additional contact details, such as a telephone number or e-mail address, which will allow us to facilitate communication with you.
By providing services to you during the term of the contract, we may obtain additional data from you (e.g. transmission or demographic data) regarding the use of our website.
The data collected during the correspondence between you and our company will be used only to answer your inquiries.
How long do we process your data?
The data will be processed for the duration of the contract between us and you, until your consent is revoked or until the obligations resulting from legal provisions are fulfilled.
Who has access to your data?
a. persons authorized by Sealand Transport sp.z o.o. – our employees and associates who must have access to data to perform their duties,
b. processors – to whom we commission activities that require data processing, e.g. entities intermediating in the sale of our services as well as administering our ICT systems or providing us with ICT tools; entities providing us with legal services
c. entities authorized under the law, e.g. courts, police, etc.
We never sell your data or exchange it for marketing purposes.
What are your rights?
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, request deletion and the right to transfer data. You may also demand the restriction of their processing due to your special situation, and in the event of granting consent, withdraw the consent granted at any time, however, the withdrawal of the previously expressed consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.
Where can I file a complaint regarding a breach of your personal data?
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Data Protection Office, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
